TRUST GOD! GIVE FINANCIALLY! EVEN MORE!

The final Sunday in October each year I preach a sermon to prepare the congregation for our annual Trust God Sunday which is the first Sunday in November. With I Thessalonians 4:1-12 and Paul’s instructions on sanctification through doing “even more” of what they have been taught (the sermon last week), I was led to how closely Jesus’, Paul’s, and the early church’s teachings and examples on money and giving relate to sanctification. In this message, we look back at I Thessalonians 4:1-3a and at Paul’s instructions on giving in II Corinthians 8:1-9.
