The Passover lamb represented the cost of sin . . . death and the shedding of blood. Jesus came to earth as the unblemished "Lamb of God" who gave His body and blood on the cross to pay the eternal debt of man's sin and fall. In Revelation 5 we see a shocking image of Jesus as a slaughtered Lamb who is worthy to consummate the final redemption of creation, earth, heaven and man!
