Faulty Yet Favored - Our Example of David

Although Christians are created in the image of God for the purpose of God, and are new creations in Christ with the Holy Spirit residing in us, we still sin and fall short of the glory of God. So how do I handle the constant awareness of my failures when my heart desperately wants to please God?  Here are three different occasions when David miserably sinned and failed but showed a heart that obeyed and carried out God’s will in such a way that God was greatly pleased. God even declared David “a man after God’s own heart.”
