Ephesians 1:3-14 is one long Greek sentence which unveils the doctrine of God’s predestined election of believers, Christ’s payment to save believers from their debt of sin, and the Holy Spirit’s seal and guarantee of the assurance of eternal salvation. In verses 11-14 we see the Holy Spirit, the third member of the Trinity, and His role in our salvation.
