The Food of Jesus

After recording what salvation is and isn’t as explained to the outstanding religious man in John 3, in John 4, John writes that salvation is offered to all, even the irreligious and immoral woman. Then in John 4:27-42, the Apostle turns his attention to how the conviction leading to our salvation should produce a hunger and obedience in us to share the story of salvation with others. This is what Jesus called His “food.”
