Do Not Take Salvation For Granted

As pastor, I heavily emphasize the grace that leads to salvation and that is available to Christians for daily life and godliness. God teaches that the assurance of our salvation is through grace and not works, but today’s passage includes the Apostle Peter’s strong urgency for Christians not to take God's gracious salvation for granted. II Peter 1:5-11 helps us confirm that our salvation is real and will assure our entry into heaven.
